If you enjoy having a a cocktail every now and then, leave your money at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all money, charge cards and checks at home. Pack only the money you intend to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you anticipate to throw away and keep the rest behind.
Cynical? Not really. Realistic more like. You may well have a success after a boozy night out with your acquaintances and be blessed enough to hook a long roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that adventure seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you always drink alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your moola out of the casino is a little bit drastic, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then don’t drink and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your cash nary a concern, then drink all the free booze you can handle, but do not carry plastic credit and cheques to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your inebriated head throws away everything!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then head on to the internet to play in your favorite casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my abode, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Although I don’t consume alcohol a lot, once I drink, it is absolutely sufficient to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. When mixed, both create a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
